The Yokai Kids Halloween

Come in costume to celebrate Halloween at The Yokai Kids Halloween!

Kids get in for FREE (maximum 3 kids up to age 15) when accompanied by a paying adult.

(Adult tickets are ¥2,500 advance / ¥3,000 at the door)

The Yokai Kids Halloween includes:

● A Haunted Bamboo forest filled with fun and friendly Japanese ghosts and spirits
● Trick Or Treat inside the building
● Kids Balloon Performance  (Friday)
● Magic Shows
● Face and Body Painting
● Kid’s Costume Contest  (¥20,000 cash prize for Best Costume)
● A Special Halloween-themed Photo Space

Here are a few frequently asked questions.

Do parents have to be in costume?
No. However if you can it will add to the overall enjoyment of the event.

Does entry into the Yokai Kids event include entry to the Adult Halloween event starting at 9 pm?
Yes.

Is there changing space for diapers?
Yes.

Is there a place to sit?
Yes. Although later in the event there may be less seating available.

Are strollers allowed inside?
No.

Can we leave strollers outside?
You may do so if you wish, however Mago / Vio and The Yokai Kids Halloween Party are not liable if anything happens to them. We advise you not to bring strollers.

Is food and drink available?
Yes. Lounge Vio serves healthy macrobiotic food.

How does the Trick Or Treat part of the event work?
There will be “Trick or Treating” inside the venue from 16:00 til 20:00 (or until the candy runs out whichever is first) There will be several Trick Or Treat Jack O lanterns spread across the venue operating during the event. If your child has any allergy or may have an adverse reaction to treats please do not participate in this part of the event.

Should kids bring a trick or treat bag?
Yes.

Is the haunted attraction too scary for small children?
The haunted bamboo forest is filled with puppets and specially created Japanese “Yokai” (ghosts) and is designed to be colorful and fun. You can bypass this area if you do not wish to participate

Can older (12+) children attend without an adult
No.

Is there validated parking?
No.  However there are coin-operated parking lots behind the FLEX building and directly across Hirokoji-dori.

Are there lockers for valuables?
Yes. There is ample locker storage. However lockers are available on a first come first serve basis.

Can we go and come back in?
Yes. Hands will be stamped for this purpose.

Are there any additional costs besides entry?
The Trick or Treat, performances and costume contest are all included. However Face Painting is on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Are there group discounts?
Yes. When 20 tickets are purchased in advance the rate is ¥2,000 each.
