The Obvious Circus Events (Until 4/17)

As my birthday grows near, I am either slowing down with impending age, or my procrastinating is a subconscious delay tactic to slow time.  Or I’m just lazy.  Whatever the reason, I wasn’t here for you last week to bring my usual tidings of music.  Big thanks to NAG MAG for filling in the blanks for me, and apologies to all of the bands, DJs and event promoters that I didn’t get the chance to shout out last week.

WHAT’S GOT ME BUZZ’n: The Elevator

Tickets are now on sale for this locally created drama that opens April 21 for a two weekend run at the Red Rock in Sakae.  Written by Gary Beaubouef and directed by Steve Pottinger, this is the story of 2 foreigners who have just arrived in Japan and, following a disaster, find themselves trapped in an elevator with a local woman.  A tale of the human condition that hits close to home, this show is a must see.  You can check out the fresh trailer on YouTube now, and heat to the Facebook page to RSVP your seats for only ¥1500, which comes with a free drink.

On to the calendar!
