Listen To The NAG BUZZ Podcast HERE!

Welcome back to the English language version of the podcast, our return to the closest we’re ever gonna get to normalcy, after last week’s virginal foray into recording in the tongue of our adopted homeland. Was it as good for you as it was for us? Do we even care? These, and more poignant and  riveting questions, will NOT be answered this week. But we digress.

This week out guest is DJ Andy S, otherwise known in the local community as Andy Snadden. Andy has a long and impressive history as a talented musician and recording artist from New Zealand,  and since moving to Japan some years ago, has expanded his repertoire to include performing as a House DJ and event promoter. He’s been involved in events of all sizes, including local outfit Stereophonic’s Big Night Out and the giant Absolute Halloween event. More recently he has played at The Pink Sexy and The Summer Sexy, and we look forward to his involvement in The Sexy Parties’ upcoming 2013 Sexy Halloween at Mago. Andy recently released a recording on the Traxsource label, entitled “Deeper”. You can go to the Traxsource link for a free sample of the recording, and for the extremely reasonable price of $1.99 a track, you can purchase the full version via instant download.

DJ Andy S is currently promoting his upcoming event, Natural Rhythm, which is slated for August 3rd at the very popular Club JB’s in Sakae. Starts at 9pm and goes late. Get there early to enjoy all the delights in store. This event will feature a rich and diverse slew of talent, not least of all: Belly Dance FusionTroupe, Padma Surya; Go-Go Dancers; Live Shakuhachi and drums from Taro Alexander and Danny Sonoir; Live Rap and Vocals from Vinny Vintage and Chris Jay; a stunning set from teen DJ sensation, Ten; and a comprehensive set of Pure House from DJ Andy S to take you deep, deep into the night.
