Nagoya’s Hair’s Looking At You! hair and beauty salon was awarded the prestigious ‘Beauty Industry Award for Excellence In Making People Look Pretty and Stuff’. They were praised for ignoring modern trends for using placenta based cream such as advertised on television, and instead rubbing newborn babies directly into their customers’ faces.
Chief cosmetologist Hirose Natsuki was singled out in particular for her pioneering treatment in helping women achieve the much desired toes-pointing-inwards-while-they-walk look, by smacking the ankles with a huge mallet and resetting the bones.
“It hurts like hell,” Hirose gushed, “but it’s so kawaii!”
