Moon Viewing at Tokugawaen

Tokugawaen will host events around the traditional harvest moon viewing dates in October. A wooden boat adorned with traditional moon viewing offerings and decorations will be illuminated from 17:00, with ºther attractions varying depending on the date. Jūsan´ya (the 13th night of the 9th month in the old calendar – the waxing gibbous moon, also known as Mame-meigetsu or “bean harvest moon”) occurs on Thursday Oct, 13 and there will be a bean gift giveaway (17:00, limited to the first 100 people).
