Minato Matsuri (Nagoya Port Festival)
July 16, 2018

This is the big one! This is the defining festival of a Nagoya summer and takes place on Marine Day, which is a public holiday so you have no excuse to not go at least once.

There are so many performances, people dancing, floats, stalls to buy food, booze, and dumb trinkets, and people wearing yukata that you will be exhausted by the end of it.

Luckily, there will be a massive and impressive fireworks display to wake you up. Photo: 蛇使いの工藤
