Kimoi Exhibition (Until May 15, 2016)

Kimoi Exhibition
An exhibition of disgusting insects
Until May 15
Kimoani is a portmanteau of the words kimoi (gross) and animal. In this case it describes a collection of insects which are gathered in an exhibit at Nagoya PARCO. The exhibition showcases terrestrial and aquatic insects such as spiders, snakes, scorpions, turtles, frogs and more. They are all very rare and have unique shapes and colors.
In addition to the exhibition they will be holding an event on the first floor during the Golden Week holiday called “Kimoi Kitchen” which offers a strange but interesting food menu with items such as soft-serve ice cream with grasshoppers.
