So what is KC exactly?
It’s a brand new international bar one block away from iD, in the Pivot Lion building. If Pivot Lion doesn’t exactly ring any bells for you, relax; it’s the same one as The Emporium.
In terms of size, KC is about twice as big as De Class, which means there is plenty of room to dance – a good thing, because you’re not going to be able to stop yourself from grooving out to the hip-hop, R&B, reggae and Latin-flavored beats being mixed live by KC’s team of DJs every night.
Luckily, even if you are one of those guys whose “dancing” consists of standing there looking awkward (like me), you can always groove your way over to the bar and choose a drink from the extensive menu of beer and cocktails, or order something off KC’s truly international food menu.
From spaghetti and pizza to Japanese-style fried rice and favorites like spicy Nigerian pepper soup and specially prepared seasoned meat, Kennedy is aiming for a bigger emphasis on tasty food with KC Bar, and it shows.
Although it’s still early days, with the awesome location and years of experience behind the bar, it’s sure to be a great place to have a drink and enjoy the Sakae nightlife!
