I have a lot of good memories at Jerry’s Uno. In March the shop is celebrating it’s 10th anniversary! I would say it has changed a lot over ten years, but it hasn’t really, which isn’t bad because it was good to start. Mama (Kumiko) and Asami-chan have some sweet deals for their “anniversary month”, like:
- March 1st:
¥1 Meat tacos (with a drink purchase)
- March 8 & 15th:
Sparkling wine half price all night
- March 21:
One hour of all you can drink glass wine for ¥1,000!
- March 29 :
Up to three handles of draft beer or high ball for ¥100 with a food purchase.
The newest addition to the menu is roast chicken, which is roasted in a big rotisserie machine right in front of you! Other than tacos, Uno’s wings are really popular.
Speaking of tacos, there are both hard and soft varieties and a ton of variations. My favorites are Pescado (fried fish taco) and Teriyaki chicken (which is what it sounds like). You can add any topping you like for a little bit extra.
Uno has a fridge you can just walk up to and take your favorite bottled beer out of. I’m partial to Cannabia but there is always something new to try. There are 60 varieties, so you’ll spend some time working through them
Drunken darts are fun. If you are like me and don’t have any friends (lol) Mama will play a few rounds with you.
In short, Uno is a fun place any time but the specials in March make it even better. Happy 10th Birthday!
