Construction has officially begun on the first LEGO theme park in Japan, which will be situated at Nagoya Port. The new park will be an interactive, hands-on experience for families with children from ages 2 to 12. It will feature over 40 rides, shows and attractions including a 4D theater and a replica of Nagoya castle built out of 225,000 blocks.
The complex will also feature a hotel and is expected to attract over 1.8 million people a year. LEGOLAND Japan is scheduled to open near Kinjo Pier at Nagoya Port in the spring of 2017.
