Bell’s Cafe – All you can drink beer and wine for 30 minutes and much more!

What used to be a regular coffee shop in the underground of Nagoya Station – Bell’s Cafe – is a bit of a surprise. Recently the shop was bought by the company behind the successful Furari Sushi restaurants who have decided to make a foray into something a bit unusual.

Located right around the corner from Midland Square underground entrance this cafe offers a great bunch of specials that are not only tasty but affordable considering the prime location at Nagoya Station where everything seems way too expensive.

Take for example their All-You-Can-Eat Karaage (fried chicken) Lunch for only ¥777! Between 11am and 2pm you can get lunch with all-you-can-eat chicken karaage marinated with Bell’s original recipe and then fried crispy. Lunch includes all you can eat rice, miso soup, and cabbage as well. That is a real bargain – and is a popular dish served at their Odaidokoro Furari locations. Only ¥777!

Or you can try their delicious “Yaki Pasta” (Stir-fried pasta). Yaki Pasta is a thick pasta stir-fried with sauce. The price starts from ¥580, and there are five different variations. The regular size is pretty big at 400 grams, but if you are really hungry you can get 1.5x for an extra ¥190 or 2x for an extra ¥350!

And here’s the real deal folks – so take note. They have ¥500 All-you-can-drink beer and wine for 30 minutes!

Yes you read that correctly.

Weekdays, weekends, whenever from 5pm, order from their plate menu or any two ala-carte items from their main menu, and you get 30 minutes of all-you-can-drink beer and wine for ¥500. It’s self-serve; so pour as much as you like, and don’t worry about running out of time because you can buy an extension to your time if you feel like it!

For the ensuing hangover or in case you work near or in Nagoya Station or Midland Square they have a Cafe Pass. Basically you pay ¥3,500 per month and they give you a coffee / tea card. With this card, you can drink one cup or coffee or tea every time you visit the shop for ¥0. You can visit as many times as you like in one day – and it is good everyday all month. So if you are a caffeine junkie or need a place to hang out, this is it.
