The Nagoya Players Present an adaptation of 12 Angry Men
The Nagoya Players, the oldest community-run English language theater group in Aichi, presents an adaptation of Reginald Rose’s 12 Angry Men.
Entitled Anger, and performed in Ikeshita’s Theater Moon, Anger is a close, taut drama revolving around a jury’s deliberations in a murder trial. A guilty verdict mandates a death sentence for the accused, and the initial vote leaves one person against the group. Each juror’s personal feelings, prejudices and backgrounds play a part on a hot summer day.
Tensions mount and tempers flare as one man attempts to sway the crowd, Anger promises a powerful look at the minds of regular people tasked with a difficult decision.
